Frequently Asked Questions

  • Absolutely. Because every business and website are different, I often provide custom quotes. My fees are always project-based and flat, meaning you pay one price that won’t change mid-project.

  • Yes. I’ll split my project fee into three payments, spaced evenly over the course of your project:

1/3 payment due at contract signing (nonrefundable deposit)

1/3 payment due at 50% project completion (first draft of website)

1/3 payment due at project completion (final version of website)

At each stage, I’ll send you an invoice via Honeybook for easy and secure payment via credit/debit card or ACH bank transfer.

  • Yes, we’ll sign a Services Agreement that describes the work to be performed, deliverables, timeframe, fee and payment terms, and other important terms, such as termination and copyright transfer.

  • I can help with that, too! Contact me for a quote.

I recommend having a conversion copywriter (like me) at least review your website copy to see if improvements can be made—in my experience, most websites need copy tweaks, at the very least.

Lackluster copy is often the reason website visitors don’t “convert” or take action on a website.

  • Yes, I can write copy for your website, whether you need your entire website rewritten or just a single page edited to be more persuasive.

But... To increase conversions (calls, bookings, sales), the copy on your website should drive its design. As most websites don't follow this best practice, I will likely make suggestions to improve the design (specifically, the top-to-bottom order of sections on each page) of your website so that the copy I write is more effective.

  • I use AI tools like Claude, Perplexity, and ChatGPT as collaborative partners in my copywriting process—never as a replacement.

I never simply ask an AI to write a website page for me and then just copy and paste what it gives me onto my client’s website.

I have a nuanced, back-and-forth conversation with the AI that takes several hours of iterative feedback and improvement to the copy.

I ask questions, we explore ideas together, and then I thoroughly refine what the AI gives me so that the final copy connects with your ideal client on an emotional level—that’s the human touch that only a professional copywriter (me) can deliver.

  • Most of my clients use Wix or Squarespace. I do not create or redesign websites that are built in WordPress, but I can refer you to a local designer who does (and I can still write your website words).

If you’ll be handling the maintenance (updates, edits) of your website after your new website is launched, I highly recommend Wix.

I build all new websites in Wix, as it’s the most robust and easiest-to-use platform for small business owners. Wix also gives me full design control so that I can make your website look as perfect as possible.
